Click here for the 2007 Route Map. There will also be a 10K walk for those who are really ambitious.
Goals for the 26th Heart of America CROP Hunger Walk:
- To have 5,000 walkers.
- To raise $150,000.
Individual CROP WALKER goal for 2007 walk is $100.00 per walker. SUPER CROP WALKERS are those walkers who raise over $250.00 in honor of the 60th anniversary of CROP and Church World Service. All Super Walkers who raise over $250.00 will receive a CROP WALK T-Shirt at registration.
Parking
Parking is at 50th and Oak in the Missouri Rep/UMKC covered garages. They will be marked as CROP Hunger Walk Parking. There will be a ham radio operator there to coordinate drop off and pick-up. Drivers should drop off their passengers at the circle drive in front of the Loose Pavilion (51st and Wornall) and then park at the garages. A shuttle will bring you up to the park. Afterwards, you can take the shuttle back to the garages and then retrieve your walkers.
